ALA – Refund & Returns Policy

At ALA, we want you to feel confident and happy with every purchase. While we strive to deliver your order in perfect condition, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be necessary. This policy explains how we handle such situations.
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

The product must be in its original packaging.

You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer — returns must be sent directly to ALA Cosmetics.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons:

Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)

Intimate or sanitary goods

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Gift cards

Downloadable software products

Some health and personal care items
Partial Refunds
In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

Books with obvious signs of use

CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened

Any item not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

We’ll email you to confirm we’ve received your return.

We’ll notify you if your refund request is approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a set number of business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:

Check your bank account again.

Contact your credit card company (it may take time for refunds to post).

Contact your bank (processing times can vary).
If you’ve done all of the above and still haven’t received your refund, please email us at info@alalifestyle.com.
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same product, email info@alalifestyle.com and send your item to: Darul Aman Housing, House 22, Road 03, Mirpur 03, Dhaka 1216 (Near Dhaka Commerce College).
Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send the refund to the gift giver.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, please send it to: Darul Aman Housing, House 22, Road 03, Mirpur 03, Dhaka 1216 (Near Dhaka Commerce College).

You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an expensive item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
